Provides Day Care for adults who are lonely or isolated or who are looking for a social environment to provide respite for a carer. Wheelchair access, disabled toilet facilities and able to cater for dietary needs.
Cost including all refreshments and meals but not transport: This is currently under review -- please contact Carol on 01736 763604. The usual transport contractor is Penhellis Transport of Helston, 01736 572626. Clients may be eligible for funding with Adult Care Services.
Typical Day Care Schedule:
9.30 – 11.00 am Coffee/Tea & Chat
12.30 – 1.30 pm Lunch
3.30-4.00 pm Tea/Coffee & Biscuits
Varied activities are arranged each day between refreshment breaks. Daily newspapers, library books, games and videos, games and various activities to provide some mental and physical stimulation.
Movie matinees (twice monthly)
Optional Church service/Communion (Tuesdays)
Optional visiting Chiropody service (current fee £10)
Freshly cooked meals
There is a separate function room for Seminars, Group Meetings and Social Functions. |
